Stem Back - Digital Print

This is a reproductuon print of an original cyanotype.

Shallows is a series of double exposure cyanotypes. A project where I merge digital images and analogue images, both printed separately onto acetate and layered together, and finally bound together as one image using the cyanotype process as a simple method of contact printing.

This image brings together a photograph I shot of model Maggi-May, and a pressed flower stem placed delicately on top of the negative as a layered collage in the printing process.
